Solicitor

Hi

Our offer on a house has just been accepted. The estate agent has now asked us to provide details of our mortgage advisor and solicitor. I wanted some advice on how to go about getting a good solicitor who charges reasonable fees. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Whatever you don't don't use any that the estate agent recommend.

If you don't have a mortgage yet (which I imagine, as you've had the offer accepted, you do), then PM me and I can give you the name of a good broker.

I'm currently using Glazer Delmar (they're on North Cross Road) for a house purchase in the area that has been a long and drawn out process and they have been brilliant with responding to emails and calls promptly.

    • The dustmen kindly broke my garden gate this morning,  so I am looking for a replacement.  I could make a complaint to the council, however I know I will have to prove it and provide a receipt,  both I can't provide. Many thanks.

    • Yet another increase, its absolutely disgusting. I was charged £7.95 to send documents recorded delivery last week. I asked for the Signed for option that only costs £2.50 but the Post Office refused & said they would only send them recorded delivery.
