Writing to China.

My boy is applying to do a Masters in China. He has his documentation prepared but I was just wondering if writing the address in English only is sufficient. Anyone know?

My guess is there are more English speakers in China than in the UK

It's likely the address will already be in "English", by which I really mean in the Latin alphabet which is used to write Chinese in "pinyin" for foreigners (and for youngsters learning Chinese). Eg: Beijing, Shanghai, Renmin Lu (People's Road) etc. There will also be a postal code, so I'd not be too concerned. You could always search for the address in characters, on the university's website for example, and print it out and put it on the envelope too.
