Jeremy
Looks nice, fox. But it's in the middle of nowhere... off the radar for London commuting, I imagine.
*Bob*
That does look nice. I'd love to live in Tenterden, Kent. After spending the morning morning admiring my giant house (alone) for an hour, I could sit in the garden, bored shitless for an hour or two, maybe try and get the ride-on mower going. Then, after a trip to town to admire the hanging baskets and listening to general post-office blue-rinse chatter about immigrants ruining the country, I can return home and spend the day emailing friends in London, pleading with them to come and visit. steveo
I've met a lot of ex pat Londoners down in Kent. They cash in and flee the smoke for the rural idyll and within months have shagged the neighbour and become divorced alcoholics.

dbboy
And at least 23 properties for sale between ?1.3 - ?2.35M.How come properties in Peckham are more expensive than East, West and North Dulwich and Forest Hill??
Jeremy
dbboy - ED has very few large properties, so you're not comparing like for like.As for Forest Hill... it's a decent area, but is a couple of miles further out, has a major road cutting through it, and doesn't have the same buzz that Peckham has at the moment. Huggers
Dboy, they are bigger, some huge early Victorian houses round Highshore Road, Chadwick Road, Lyndhurst, some detached, with huge gardens minutes from a station that directly serves the East London Line. Some very individual houses, including the large early cottages around Elm Grove.

*Bob*
Property BladderedHomes Under the HummeretcThere's one in the US called 'Spouse vs House' where hapless husbands with limited DIY and interior design skills are given limited budget to makeover/ruin the marital home. Only a matter of time before that particular permutation of car crash TV finds its way over here, I'm sure.
Earl Aelfheah
that house would cost a fortune to maintain and you'd be rattling around it with nothing to do, in the middle of nowhere. Looks nice though.
