Trustee for a Small Mental Health Charity

Do you know of anyone who would be interested in being a Trustee of a lively and well-run charity? The Inner City Centre (www.icclondon.org.uk) is a small and effective charity set up and run by over 50 qualified and experienced psychotherapists working across London to provide low-cost psychotherapy. It is a virtual organisation in that most of the day to day management is done online and by phone, with 5 part-time staff working from home. Our Council meets 6 times per year, and we would welcome with open arms two more external trustees to join the Council. The work would involve no more than 2 hours per month. We are seeking people with an interest in mental health, and above all, people with experience of financial management, who can provide oversight to help ensure i) that the organisation continues to fulfil its responsibilities towards its target beneficiaries, and ii) to meet the legal and regulatory requirements of a charity in the UK.
