Parked van

How come there's been a van parked blocking the dropped kerb at the junction of Worlingham/Crawthew for about a week? Most people get about 30 seconds grace if they illegally park in ED. The parking bloke was right by it this morning and nothing happened. What's special about it, I ask myself?

Presuming the OP means the wheelchair access dropped kerb for crossing, not a dropped kerb access to someone's drive?

Thank you. As in the attached, I assume. I don't think I've noticed ones like that before. Are they common? The van does seem to have gone now anyway.

An orange level warning: banana skin and mush observed on pavement, west side of Crawthew, just south of junction with Frogley. It was a bit too messy for me to remove.

Yes it's gone, perhaps due to my telling Southwark. It just seemed so dd in this part of the world to get away with it for a week.

Pretty common nowadays Ian, every time street crossing pavements are repaired they put in dropped kerbs and the studs for the blind I think.

Yes I had about 4" of bumper over one and got a ticket that was issued at 0700.....they're going to really make a mint after they've put the yellow lines in- I for one will not be giving them the satisfaction.
