Jacqueline Pearce the actress who played the iconic character Servalan in 70s TV series Blake's Seven has died. Without question Servalan was one of the best villains in TV science fiction.

Pete Shelley, very sad, saw him both solo (Ten Summers' Festival) and with the Buzzcocks.

I was just leaving secondary school (Kingsdale) in the Summer of 1979 (nearly 16) and saw the Buzzcocks on Top of the Pops and still remember all the words to Ever fallen in love.
