Advice Please: regarding my fairly new T-Mobile Phone

For no apparent reason it went all "speckled" and "sandy-coloured" on the screen on Saturday and is still the same 2 days later ( even after taking the SIM Card and Battery out for a while).

I've been told that Carphone Warehouse can treat phones on the original warranty ( phone is only 4 months old) but they have to remove all photos and I have over 100 which I very much do not want to lose.

Is there a way that they (or anyone else) can do the repair and not lose the photos please Guys?

Hi Tony, I've been thinking the nice thing to do would be to re-supply you with some of those lost images from your phone. I've made a start for you.

Am I the only one who thinks that Tony is telling porkies regarding the savior of his most prized exposures?

I bet he's telling fibs isn't he

You don't really have over a hundred photo's stored on your brick do you Tony?

At first I fell for this ruse or 'Coup d'etat' from our favourite cockerny from afar but then it dawned on me. Tony can't have that little amount of chums now can he, what with all the mates and solid sources of Tony's that keep creeping up in his right wing tales of London before the Windrush and all those 'diamond geezers' of old.

Tony must have a bottomless cavern of mates who'd fill even the most sophisticated of N.A.S.A's computer memory banks.

So why does he have such a minute entourage of buddies to keep his sim card warm at night?

That's right.....they're all a great big load of Jackanory, all in his head.

Just so as he doesn't feel left out. Here's a few more pics he can keep on his mantle piece along side the royal family and Thatcher cabinet.

Just realised I've only had "Pie 'n Mash" 3 times in my life, including one memorable occassion next to West Ham Football Stadium at Upton Park.

That WAS an absolute squeeze which I'm still trying to fathom out 25 years later...

Me:"Pie 'n Mash, please"

Owner: "One Pie 'n Mash with Liquor, Charlie"

Me: " No thanks, me old M8, just Pie 'n Mash please"

Owner: "Sorry?"

Me: "Er, just Pie 'n Mash, please" accompanied with a cheeky Cockney smile...

Owner: "You can't do that"

Me: "You can't do what?"

Owner: "Have Pie 'n Mash without the liquor!"

Me: "But I don't like liquor!"

Owner: "You GOT to have the liquor!"

Me "But I don't want it!"

Owner: "Sorry no can do"

Me: "I'll tell you what M8 ( said more firmly now) I'll PAY for the liquor but I do NOT want it, all right?!":X

Owner: "NO!!"....

Its posible I may have slightly strayed off topic....

    • I can recommend John Hudson. I've been taking lessons with him since last year and he's very good. He teaches most styles. You can find his contact details on his website - https://www.johnhudsonguitar.co.uk/
    • Hello, I was carrying my sleeping toddler on Sunday afternoon (21st April) and must have been pretty distracted and dropped my jumper from my bag. Iwas walking from Crystal Palace and then getting the 363 to The Gardens near Peckham Rye Park. Somewhere I seemed to have lost my favourite green jumper - is bright green, cashmere, from John Lewis, in case anyone spots it. Thank you! (Have phoned the bus garage too).
    • And what would you suggest for cyclists that also flout the rules?  Crush their bikes at the same facility that crushes errant drivers cars ?  Same rules and punishment must  apply to all road users (except runaway horses of course)
    • I'm looking for a guitar teacher for my 17 year old son. In terms of music that he likes, he says he's interested in learning fingerpicking (although I guess he needs to learn the basics first!). He listens to quite a lot of acoustic guitar stuff as well as indie stuff, has a curious interest in Japanese pop and loves folk too. Ideally we would be looking for someone who could do one-to-one lessons at my flat, which is 5 minutes walk from Honor Oak tube station.
