I've no idea. Brian Jones stitched him up though.

Very sad news about the untimely death of singer 'Black', also known as Colin Vearncombe who had the worldwide hit "Wonderful Life" back in the 80's. RIP.

Louisa.

That's weird about Black - they were playing a load of classics on Vintage TV last night and Wonderful Life was one of the songs. I had forgotten who sang it and read up all about him on Wikipedia.

Terry Wogan had a wonderful way of delivering his own brand of humour. It seemed effortless and endless. Although he did so much tv, radio was probably his best stage. Very sad that he is gone.

When I think of Terry Wogan I'm always reminded of his interview with David Ike. Wogan could have been a bit more sympathetic to someone who was obviously struggling with mental health issues.

Harper Lee, aged 89.

To kill a mockingbird is the best novel I've ever read, who cares if she didn't write more, why try to better perfection?

She also invented** the classic cocktail, "Tequila Mockingbird".

** this probably isn't true

The legendary Vi Subversa (of 'anarcho-punk' band Poison Girls). Back in the 80s I once saw her make a solo guest appearance at the Fridge in Brixton; she was so amazing that I've completely forgotten who the main act was that night. RIP.
