That's made me laugh, because when I was younger (not now, far too fat, and far too little hair) I used to get told quite a bit that I looked like Che, and a couple of people told me I looked like Gaz.

Corbyn's statements on Castro are an utter disgrace and show how unfit he is for any sort of office - there is no right sort of dictator end of. A man who summary executed many of his opponents, created a thriving democratic and free latin american community (in Miami); suppressed trade unions; suppressed homosexuality and handed over his broken dictatorship to his brother is being hailed as a hero by half of the shadow cabinet (ooh, he achieved 100% literacy)......utterly depressing. Never vote for these morons, please.

I have to agree with on this.
Corbyn is a dinosaur romanticising over an aged ideology of extreme socialism.
Castro was a fanatical dictator who had little regards for human rights and free speech.

Corbyn will never win an election. He is a disgrace to the Labour Party.

Not to say that he did nothing good, the revolution was needed.

But once things were stabilised he shouldnhave stepped aside and introduced democracy.

He was a dictator. I do understand that the situation post revolution was complicated, bit one cannot support a dictatorship. Corbyns comments are almost as distasteful as Thatchers close friendship with Pinochet.

AA Gill's justly unforgiving references to the Tristrams of the BBC will always live with me. Great critic, and a great loss.

Coral Atkins, Family at War, for us oldies who remember these things, latterly caring for disturbed children in the Cotswolds. She was 80.

Adrian Gill after completing the 12 steps , reinvented himself with his ironic alliteration, AA.

Yes, a great loss.

I am raising an (ironic) glass of champagne to him now.

As for the 12 steps, that will have to wait :-).
