Who did I just see?

Today I saw a vision in blue with lovely little white hearts upon her dress. She was crowned with a dyed black mane though not quite silken like a panther, pale alabaster skin pristine about a sweetheart bow in bright red just begging to be kissed. She dismounted the 176 on impossible pins clad in black and disappeared into the East.

Daizie? I wondered, only because this vision had hidden her substantial assets 'neath a closed collar.

To whomever you are, beauty becomes you. (?)

Well that's kind of a relief as I gather she's a tad high maintenance and picky :-S I'm outta her league.

Despite the bus moving as if it was well and truly sh@gged she did indeed just exit the bus.

Ah well, here's to Fate and serendipity reuniting us.

PR,if you're used to all that vinyl and vibration in the saddle then I'm definitely outta my league. Pardon me for doubting but this gem was neither bow-legged nor looking blissfully sated (fortunately) ;-)

Cheers Karter, on both counts.

Alas Karter, I neither normally travel that far down LL nor am on the bus at that time :( It may be slightly less chancy to just loiter around that stop for an hr every evening but perhaps that's too unromantic.

Being the unpracticed singleton I failed to determine if this lovely was already betrothed. I'll see what happens next Monday when the stars may align once more.

    • Hello all, Please excuse me/feel free to remove the comment if this isn’t the appropriate place for it. I am an East Dulwich resident writing a story for the South East Londoner (https://www.selondoner.co.uk) about the problems patients are facing with the service at Tessa Jowell GP Surgery and the Health Centre. I would like to speak with people currently or formerly registered with the practice to learn more about their experiences. This story won’t seek to single out or ‘have a go’ at individuals – by most accounts the quality of care for those who do get an appointment is good – but will look at the quality of service and why it seems to be worsening.  If you would like to speak to me, you can email [email protected] and we can arrange an interview. If you’d like to check who I am first, my editor Tom Holmes can be reached at [email protected] I will also post this on the East Dulwich Forum Facebook group. Thank you, Harry Hetherington

    • Am a power wheelchair user and whilst on the pavement cyclists expect me to make way for them
    • I agree with Head Nun. My experience is very similar and has been so for the 25 years I've lived in London. They got a lot worse after the Tour de France came here though. And then the Olympics.
