hi james, depends where the damp is coming from/what is causing it, and what the terms of your lease are. If your lease states that the freeholder is responsible for care of external walls etc. and the damp is coming from an external wall, then the freeholder is responsible for repairing it and should do so using funds from the service charge you pay to them.
