Did I break the law?

I turned right into East Dulwich Grove from Lordship Lane today (which I'm sure the 37 does), but as I did I noticed a 'no right turn' sign further up on the left. Presumably this applies to East Dulwich Grove? If so, how come the buses are allowed to?

It's not that unusual to have a junction which is "No Left (or right) Turn Apart from Buses" is it?

I'm guessing you're referring to the sign outside Foxtons on here

As it's past the junction it refers to a subsequent turning, Matham Grove from the looks of it.

Aha - sorry I've seen the photo now - yes that's the one! Just paranoid as previously I was following my SatNav in Brixton and the layout had changed - and I became ?120 poorer :'(

And yes I know it was my responsibility to pay attention to the correct signage on the road...

... and I haven't seen any signs about buses but I'm sure they do exist and have special privileges.

Oooh my first tipsy posting, thank goodness for the edit funtion!
