Reclaimed or new pine floor - what to do?

We are having to replace our victorian pine floor - have found some reclaimed boards but still not sure - as they are quite expensive and will then have to be laid, sanded and treated - has anyone used new pine and successfully tried to age it? We have been advised to try this but now have limited time as the building contractors, who are brilliant, are ahead of schedule and need us to decide asap - any suggestions please?

You can colour new boards with varnish so they blend in with old boards that have been varnished. We had this done on sections of our floor where the boards had been replaced and it's quite tricky to tell they are new. However, you need an expert to do this.

If you have to replace the entire floor then I would go with reclaimed as I think the whole floor would look a lot better.
