I've returned from a great road trip!

Done 1,200 miles on the bike, checked me messages at my cousin's place in Baaaarrry 10 days in now and am speaking in a Welsh Accent. Come home in two days. Miss me? I LOVE LONDON but boy are we living on a beautiful island. It depressed me just how many people told me they did not like London, like I asked them, right? But they felt they wanted to voice their opinions. Anyhow, I miss you and it, but biking round the countries England and Wales is faaaaaaaablus.

Love you ALL dahlings and missing you loads!

Byeeeeeeeeeeee!

You only want me for your fix of carbohydrate? Pahhhh.

Rain was indeed well forecast for today, and I had to be home by tomorrow.

So I came home last night.

Magnificent photographs to be seen when films are D&Pd* and CDs also acquired and installed!

Oh I am sooooooooooooooo happy. It was SUCH a good trip and coming home to MrPR (he's worked out how to use washing machine if not bread machine!) I know how lucky I am to be alive and with him! But solo motorcycle trips are a very necessary part of my sanity. Having done it several times before I have to declare that outside of London my favourite part of the Britain is most definitely the High Pennines. Oh, and the scary mountain passes of Lake District, oh and Yorkshire Dales's tiny lanes AND the mountain road from Aberystwyth to Rhayader, and while I think about it, most of Northumberland AND of course the Alston to Penrith mountain road stopping for coffee at Hartstop Cafe England's Highest Cafe!

Thank you all for reading!

    • Good that PETA is on it but can we add our voices to the fight against this horrible practice? I’m still shocked! A petition maybe? Happy to raise to the RSPCA but don’t want to duplicate efforts. I’ve signed campaigns from RSPCA before which sends it directly to your councillor
    • Yes, I'm aware of that. I believe the brood was five to begin with. However they are almost adult size now so not the prey of rats any longer.
    • Happy to recommend Greg. Lovely guy and a really hard worker, high standard of work, clean and tidy too. Greg sorted out a tricky water tank problem in a tight space in a loft, staying late into the evening to get the correct parts and fix the problem. Thanks Greg!
    • Birds have large broods as it is unlikely all their offspring will make it through to adulthood.  Nature.  Important to reduce unnatural predation such as rats.
