No Franky-poos

This is not about hate. Kerry is genuinely mentally ill & needs help.

Heather is.....erm, oh yes very rich now & quite bonkers.

Have you read the wiki link ?

"Oh, you muuust dahling"

Sad, desperate, deluded, damaged... I still hate her!

And as for Kezza Katona, it's not her mental health issues I detest, it's everything about that makes me cringe from her 'chewing wasps' face to her grating, whinging accent ( I have nothing against Northerns per se, being Scottish I can't afford to..!)

I know but persevere, there are some real gems in there.

>Mills later wrote that at the age of 15 she ran away to join a funfair, and then lived in a cardboard box under Waterloo Station for four months, although Stapely refuted this by saying that she occasionally left home at weekends to travel with a young man who worked for a funfair<

Sorry I don't accept that... I don't like her and that is fact and I am very much entitled to an opinion. She shouldn't flaunt herself on every reality show going as she doesn't do herself any favours. I know other people with mental health issues, some more obvious than hers. It's not an excuse for everything she does!! And sorry to sound all holier than thou but someone who uses class A drugs so blatantly in front of her kids and whilst in sole responsibility of them has to take some accountability for their actions....

The problem with Heather Mills she does not come across, as genuine and believable Linda McCartney is a tough act to follow. It takes to for a marriage to work we don't know what sort of a husband Paul was we only know the celebrity side of him. In your link she mentions that he is a boring old fart that he does not go to parties anymore well did she not think he has done all that in the 60s before she was born and after.

Paul McCartney is at the age where he just wants a quite life now been there done that, this tends to happen when

there is a big age cap look at Prince Charles and Diana.

Nette - I knew I could rely on you!

Just spent the best part of an hour on phone to IT support and whilst waiting, I managed to read almost halfway through tthat wiki entry on my phone. Its SO SO funny, I was guffawing and chortling at absolutely everything in the end. Thankfully I'm at home and not out in public.

I agree, funniest thing I have read in a while :)) (tu)

The case against -

Frankito Today, 10:52AM

The case for-

Wiki

[quote name=Mills stipulated that McCartney had to agree to stop smoking cannabis before she agreed to marry him, complaining that he used the drug "as regularly as others drink cups of tea", and that she has never taken any illegal drugs in her life.[]

"Mills faxed eight pages of instructions to the hotel on what she should and cannot eat. She was insistent that Beatrice?s strict vegan diet should be adhered to"

Yep. I know this.

It's crazy sh*t, but I also know a lot of people like this. Probably 1 in 5 women.

Probably... *scraches head*.... no.... erm....

No, no blokes at all.

Just women then. ;-)

I feel uneasy about the whole Heather Mills thing. The press were fine with her until she was divorcing Paul McCartney and then they took his side. They began a kind of rabid feeding frenzy of attacks on Ms Mills that was sickening to watch. I don't know if any of it was justified, it just struck me as vicious and over the top.

Ms Mills then appeared to lose her bearings somewhat and maybe even had a nervous breakdown as some of her subsequent statements and actions were a little bizarre. I'm not sure any of us could survive a prolonged hate campaign by the media without losing our marbles though.

Now she thinks she was hacked. How do we know this wasn't true?

After the level of press interest in her story previously, I would have thought this was a dead cert. I hope the poor cow gets a more sympathetic airing of her issues this time round and the media engage proper journalists in this, instead of the pack of wolves who chased her relentlessly during her divorce.

Damn rant...! Funnily enough I have consciously chosen not to make comment on any ofthe media crap.. My opinions are based on behaviours rather than mass hysteria.. She ain't no wallflower who hides from the cameras, she has taken every advantage of media exposure and has shown herself to be a bit of a loon..

And for the record, I don't read newspapers.

I like this LadyD, you put it very well. I read one of her books years ago and she did a lot for charity and helped people with limb problems like herself. I couldnt fault her and her drive to help people makes up for whatever happened in her relationships.

    • Hi Everyone   My aunt had a horrible fall at East Dulwich station last Thursday on 11th April.  She has suffered significant injuries and was helped by 2 kind passers by whom we would really like to thank. We also want to know if anyone saw her fall/ knows what happened as my aunt cannot recall and it would be useful for her family to know in terms of future planning.  If you are or know the passers by who assisted, called paramedics and comforted her, please do reach out - we would love to thank you.  Equally, if you happened to be there or see what happened please message and let me know.   Thanks
    • what is the status of your company? is it formally closed, yet the bank account is open? How are you planning on extracting the funds from the company account?  Do you have your emails from a personal email account? Is there any indication that it is a business sale, other than a business bank account - did you tell them it was a business bank account - does the bank account you gave them have a different name?
    • Can anyone help / offer advice, please? I just sold a fairly rare and quite valuable vintage knitting machine and accessories to a business as a private sale to a business. It's run a couple who specialise in repairing and reselling secondhand knitting machine parts. I tested the machine and accessory prior to selling and both were working. The business has just texted me with a fairly aggressive message to say 'it can't be working as part of it is missing' and that the pattern reading accessory does not work. I know that both parts were working when I handed them over, so it is just their word against mine. (I haven't replied to ask what part is missing yet) When they arrived to pick up, the owner said he needed to do 'due diligence' ie to open the case of the machine and check it was all there. He did all that and did not mention anything was missing at that point. They paid by bank transfer on pickup. Unfortunately for me, I got them to pay into my business ac (even though I no longer run a business and am retired, I still have the account) and now they say because they paid to a business ac they can dispute the payment. I did get them to sign a delivery note with a list of items that they were buying  but I did not specify 'bought as seen' on the note. How does it work when it's one person's word against another? I originally found the business online and emailed them with the details and photos. They had good reviews for selling items (but no reviews re: buying items) The owner always replied by phone rather than email so although I have notes of our conversations I do not have anything in writing from him. I'm feeling angry at having trusted them and also upset - textile design was my career before I retired and I wish I'd just given the machine to a charity now1 Any helpful advice much appreciated!
