Arsenal signed memorabilia

My Uncle was an avid Arsenal supporter before passing away a while ago. He use to work in the events business and when my Dad was clearing out his stuff he found hidden at the back of a filing cabinet an Adidas football boots bag signed by Freddie Ljungberg, once of Arsenal, but inside are a pair of muddy crusted Nike Total 90111 size 11/46 footbal boots (big feet) that have been signed in blue biro. The thing is they are not the same signature as Freddie's. There are three signatues; 1 on the right and 2 on the left boot. I think they are the same but not too sure. All I can make out is Arsenal and best wishes. The signatures are typically unreadable. I've deducted from when the boots were first made by Nike they are circa 2000-2006. So they come from the Highbury days which coincides when my Uncle went to all the home games. I've been investigating on line all players of this era and trying to match autographs, but have had no joy.

Any ideas would be welcome as I would like to get them verified, cos there must of been a good reason why my Uncle kept them stashed away instead of auctioning them of for charity through the business. Or if you know anyone that might be interested purchasing them let me know also as they were given to me as I'm an Arsenal season ticket holder for my sins. Come on you GOONERS.

Cheers all.

I think you should keep them in memory of your uncle and in recognition of your Gooner family. Is there not another family Gonner who could cherish these.

Yes I am a serious Gooner hence the capital G in Gooner.

OMG a massive night tomorrow

    • A Jay appeared in our garden yesterday evening and is still there now. Quite large and healthy looking but seems (to my completely ignorant self) to be missing his/her tail feathers which is perhaps why they’re hanging about. I’ve left out some seeds and water but not sure what else can be done? Any keen ornithologists or wildlife carers nearby?
    • Hen123, despite the stats, it still doesn't mean cyclists are safe to ignore the rules.  There's an old joke when a 95 year old granny with poor eyesight was asked if she had been involved in any accidents during her driving career, and she replies none but I've seen plenty in my rear view mirror  I have seen so many near misses (both as a bus user, driver and pedestrian) where a cyclist has done something unexpected or illegal and fear the day that its not a near miss.
    • I agree. I feel so lucky to have found this nursery. It’s very nurturing but I’ve also been amazed at the phonics etc they do - it’s far superior to what I’ve experienced at other nurseries in the area
    • That is clearly not true. I see car drivers breaking the law on an hourly basis - jumping red lights, speeding, not obeying the general rules. Plus they are operating considerably more dangerous machinery and should have a greater responsibility of care to other road uses. You can see who causes the most harm by the stats.
