I have a duplicate Birth Certificate which is Certified..

And have Copies of my Birth Certificate, I need to get the Copies certified.

I was told the Post Office could do this, but they say they cannot do it.

I asked my bank but was told they can only do this if you are personally known by the manager.

Been with my bank for 40 Years and thgey don't know me.

Was told it has to be someone I have a personal relationship with. like a doctor.

My dentist could not help so I tried my GP. who also refused.

Anyone got any Ideas.

I need this done urgently to start drawing my pension...

Fox.

My Birth Certificate got lost in the Blitz in the war, I got a copy when shown for the Call up into the army there was no problem, it cost 6 pence in old money.

Certified Copy of the Birth in the Sub-District N.W.Camberwell. St. Giles Hospital.

The Certified Copy does say that it can only be used for that named reason. ( No other use or purpose whatever )

    • I have ordered from them and they do free delivery within a certain radius.  Have only had some of their vegetarian dishes which were all good including the onion bhajis that come with a very tasty spicy green sauce accompaniment.  Also, they start service from 1230 pm if you want lunch.
    • The bin outside Harris Primary School has been a spot for fly-tipping weekly. This is now a hazard for the children going to school every day - they have to walk over the rubbish to get into the school!  The rubbish has been there since Saturday, it is Tuesday 23 April today and nothing has been done! I've see a person who lives across the road dumping her house rubbish to into the bin but I believe it is not only her now but other people too!
