Question re need for planning application

The kitchen of my terraced house is a typical "block" on the back of the house. The back door was originally there but it was bricked up (and a French door to get into the back garden placed at the back of the through lounge). Do I need planning application to tear down the back wall of the kitchen "block" (which holds a window) and replace it with full-length sliding/collapsible doors?

By far your best bet would be to get a couple of builders round to assess the feasibility of what you want to do and they will guide on what you can do. Lots of good builders recommended elsewhere on this forum.
