Hello! We are looking for a female lodger to live on the top floor of our family in a beautiful house which is on a tree lined street opposite Camberwell College of Arts.

The lodger's floor will be the top floor in a beautifully refurbished Victorian house. Large double bedroom; big en suite bathroom; own washing machine; flat screen TV; built in cupboards and shelves.


Bedroom: Large double bedroom. Thick new carpets. Fantastically light and airy.


Built in cupboard and shelving for clothes etc.


Fantasically comfortable bed that folds up into the wall to create extra space.


Bathroom: very light from the skylight in the roof; marble tiles; toilet; sink; bath/shower.


Washing machine: Which? award winning, quiet washing machine tucked away in one of the bathroom cupboards.


Partially furnished: cupboard at the top of the stairs, and lots of shelves in the bedroom. Storage for your stuff that you don't want out also negotiable.


Samsung flat screen 26 inch TV


Parking: unrestricted on road parking.

The area:


Crofton Road is off Peckham Road; standing at the bottom of it you are looking at the South London Gallery and Camberwell College of Arts. The road is well placed for the culinary and social delights of Camberwell, Peckham and Dulwich with loads of a funky bars artistic spaces, cafes and pubs on your doorstep; some of our favourites are The South London Gallery, The Tiger and the Grand Union. If you fancy a swim or some physical exertion the Camberwell Leisure Centre is five mins walk away in Camberwell Green, or ten minutes the other way is the Peckham Pulse Leisure Centre. For nearby green spaces there is the lovely Warwick Gardens, Myatt's Fields, Ruskin Park and Peckham Common. And other local distractions include the award winning Peckham Library and the Peckham Farmers Market in the main square every Sunday morning or nearby there is super trendy Bellenden Road, with delis, cafés, boutiques and bookshops.


Transport:


To get onto the tube you can go to the bottom of the road and jump on one of the many buses that will take you to Oval and Elephant and Castle.


Denmark Hill or Peckham Rye are a ten minute walk from the house to get onto the Overground Line, taking you to the delights of Shorditch and beyond and there are regular trains to London Bridge, Victoria and Blackfriars.
