Light, fully furnished (wardrobe, drawers, king-sized double bed, sofa), huge double (attic) room in a spacious and airy 3 bed house for rent with two easy going housemates in their mid/late 30's.

Shared bathroom (with one other) with bath and shower. Newly carpeted living room and dining room. Great kitchen with dishwasher. Nice sheltered sunny garden with decking, BBQ and garden furniture.

Great East Dulwich location (with security gate) on Holmes Close (SE22 9AR), near Goose Green, Peckham Rye Park and the bars and cafes of Lordship Lane. Great gym and pool literally opposite.

Easy walking distance to both East Dulwich station (10 mins) or Denmark Hill/Peckham Rye Station (20 mins) for access to multiple train lines into London Bridge and Victoria (9-15 minutes).

The house has Sky TV (full package), broadband and a weekly (amazing) cleaner who also irons! We are friends with the landlady and so don't have to deal with an agency if something in the house needs fixing.

Rent:

?800 per month + bills (circa ?50 per month)

?1000 deposit and a minimum stay of 6 months

Available: September 1st 2016

About the housemates:

Donna works for a private hospital, likes jogging, cycling, hockey and cooking. She is always visiting friends somewhere (and accumulates an inordinate amount of thank you cards for things), is laid back and one of the most helpful people you could hope to meet (note: not written by Donna). She does, however, have appalling taste in trash TV.

Malph owns a sport and entertainment business, as well having interests in two other companies. He also jogs, cycles and plays football a few times a week. He's tidy and is often found restacking the dishwasher after Donna's efforts. However him and cooking don't get on.

Both of us are single (in case that is relevant), socialise together and separately and have a great positive vibe in the house that we're keen to maintain. Complainers/moaners need not apply, we're after someone that can add to the atmosphere within the house.

    • You can request for them to come and collect your full bins again https://forms.southwark.gov.uk/ShowForm.asp?fm_fid=1879 They usually come on whatever day your rubbish/recycling collection day is. If you aren't going to be in, leave them somewhere that they can find it. If you don't need replacements, just leave a note on the full ones that a replacement isn't needed.  They usually come quite early, so it's better to leave them outside if you can.
