Stunning Studio with gardens and allocated parking in Peckham

Would you like to live in peaceful, green surroundings, just moments from Bellenden Road, and Peckham Rye station? A newly refurbished, high specification studio apartment? Your own allocated parking spot yet enviably situated adjacent to some of the most desirable streets in the area? Then this could be the flat for you!

The Apartment:

It?s a large, bright and airy studio flat with private front door and entrance hall, and separate bathroom and kitchen: the layout gives you a real sense of space, as does the wonderful view from the windows across the beautiful shared gardens which are maintained by professional gardeners (see main photo). It has recently been refurbished with brand-new double-glazed windows and front door.

Entrance Hall: 2 large built-in cupboards for storage

Bathroom: brand new bathroom, features rain-maker shower and custom-made plantation-style shutters

Main Room: 18 feet long with windows most of the length of the room, allows maximum sunlight into the room, fitted with blinds and soft curtains for maximum light control and comfort. Please note: currently furnished with a futon sofabed that has storage (drawers) underneath it, shelving units, a wardrobe and a folding dining table and chairs. It also has a double bed (can be rented with or without the bed)

Kitchen: a light and bright kitchen with stainless steel oven and ceramic hobs, full-size fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave and toaster

Allocated parking spot

Extensive shared gardens and grounds including open areas laid to lawn, as well a woodland with large mature trees and a picnic area

The Locality:

It?s on a lovely quiet development in the best part of the area, which is adjacent to some of the smartest residential streets around, nestled between Peckham and Camberwell. From the flat, it?s a 4-minute stroll to Bellenden Road with its fantastic independent restaurants, cafes and shops, the heart of the regeneration area, and a 6-minute walk from Camberwell Grove, where there are more amenities including some great gastropubs. Lordship Lane has a wide selection of up-market restaurants, bars and shops and is also within easy walking distance.

There are lots of parks and open spaces nearby including Peckham Rye, Warwick Gardens and Lettsom Gardens.

Transport:

The flat is conveniently located a short walk from 3 train stations - Peckham Rye (8 mins), Denmark Hill (12 mins) and East Dulwich (15 mins). Peckham Rye is very well connected as it has London Overground services (e.g. to Shoreditch, Islington and Clapham) as well as Thameslink services (to Blackfriars, Farringdon, Kings Cross, Luton etc) and is also served by Southern and Southeastern train services to London Bridge, London Victoria and various other destinations further afield.

    • Malumbu, by that measure are police efforts to cut down on anti-social driving by issuing tickets and fines a token effort as well? Surely punitive measures for cyclists breaking the rules will encourage them not to break the rules again? A bit like when you got stopped and taken into the cab of an HGV. The police are currently using that tactic to show those who break the rules cycling that it might lead them to being hit by a lorry due to the driver's having limited vision - the cycling equivalent of a speed awareness course for drivers.    When they stopped you was it because you had broken a rule or was it just more of an education programme and they asked you to take a look and did it change your cycling behaviour in any way? As I said previously there are those who break the rules on cycling out of ignorance (and those out of arrogance) and I am sure they are using HGVs to educate those in the ignorance category and then hitting those in the arrogance category with the PCNs.
    • Good that PETA is on it but can we add our voices to the fight against this horrible practice? I’m still shocked! A petition maybe? Happy to raise to the RSPCA but don’t want to duplicate efforts. I’ve signed campaigns from RSPCA before which sends it directly to your councillor
    • Yes, I'm aware of that. I believe the brood was five to begin with. However they are almost adult size now so not the prey of rats any longer.
    • Happy to recommend Greg. Lovely guy and a really hard worker, high standard of work, clean and tidy too. Greg sorted out a tricky water tank problem in a tight space in a loft, staying late into the evening to get the correct parts and fix the problem. Thanks Greg!
