Hi everyone, My partner and I are going away to Costa Rica over the holidays and would happily rent out our flat during this period. Its a well restored victorian house on a quiet treelined street in SE22 just off the Peckham Rye park. The flat consists of a bright and airy living room with bay windows, separate kitchen, quiet bedroom towards the garden and big bathroom. Price on asking, please PM if you are interested.

  Are your neighbours also smelling it? If not, I had a similar issue years ago and found it was down to an emersion heater element failing and putting strain on the wiring, which had to be replaced. Hopefully you can track it down.

  Has anyone else been woken up by an acrid smoky smell in the early hours around CPR/Darrell Road? Has happened a couple of times in the past month, most recently this morning.
