The rules for the residential section of this forum

Properties on here should be in, or very, very close to, East Dulwich so please state where your property is. If we can't read in your post where the property is we might delete the listing . Unfortunately properties deemed to be outside the area will be removed without warning, we simply do not have time to contact everyone and explain why. Apologies for having to make this a rule but we do waste a lot of time dealing with some people who have issues with this.

Posting titles in CAPITAL LETTERS is an instant removal too.

I really shouldn't have to say this but estate agents are not allowed to advertise here.

Continued non-following of these two simple rules results in a ban, mainly because I get fed up with dealing with the offenders.

Double bedroom in leafy and lovely East Dulwich, with Dulwich Park literally a stone's throw away. The flat comprises of a spacious lounge, modern kitchen with all the appliances you'd expect and a gas hob.

Only a 10 min walk to the great shops, cafes, pubs, bars, restaurants, cinema and eclectic weekend market of North Cross Road/Lordship Lane. The property is also only 10 mins to pretty Peckham Rye Park. The flat is just off Lordship Lane with regular buses 185/176 to East Dulwich station (10 mins) with great connections to London Bridge. Slightly further on is Denmark Hill station (15 mins) with connections to Victoria, Blackfriars and the Overground or you can go up the hill to Forest Hill station with the 176/185/197 (10mins) - again the station has great connections to London Bridge, Victoria and the Overground. Either way you can get into Central London in about 25/30 mins. Plus the famous No.12 bus straight into town is right outside the door ? every few minutes.

There's loads of other great places on the doorstep - Forest Hill, Herne Hill with Brockwell lido and park, Brixton and not forgetting Peckham, with its amazing places to eat and cool places to go out such as the Bussey Building.

The room comes fully furnished, a bed, two sets of drawers and a bedside table. The rent is ?675 pcm ? plus bills, a deposit of ?675 and a minimum 6 month tenancy. References required.

The flat would be shared with a friendly, easy going female in her 20's.

The flat also has a small spare room which is really handy!

The present tenant is 27 and works in central London as a solicitor. Looking for someone who is easy going, friendly, considerate and likes to socialise.

There will be a reference check charge of ?135. The move in date is very flexible but preferably no later than 10th January.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Available: 10th Jan 2016 - ?760per calendar month

Viewings: 7th & 8th Jan 2016

1 month's rent plus 1 month's deposit payable in advance

10 mins walk from East Dulwich train station with direct (15 mins) BR connection to London Bridge & regular links to Victoria (25 mins) & Blackfriars (25 mins). The area is also well served by several direct bus routes into the West End.

King sized room is situated in a stunning 4 storey Victorian house 3 mins walk from Lordship Lane, the new Picture House Cinema, ESPH gym, award winning restaurants, numerous independent boutiques, & lifestyle & organic food shops.

The quiet and private room, is situated on its own floor with an adjacent shower & WC, comes with a king sized bed, desk & storage. It overlooks a gorgeous secluded garden, which also has a patio for al fresco dining. There is shared use of the kitchen & conservatory, which has strong Wi-Fi connection, this shared use extends into the lounge at weekends, which has Sky TV, & garden. These along with water, gas & electricity bills are all included in the rent. A cleaner - who comes once a fortnight to vacuum & clean shared areas - is also included. Telephone & Council Tax excluded.

We need a very clean & tidy, full time employed, non - smoking professional, who is self sufficient, independent & who will appreciate our need for personal space & quiet time in the week - we really need our switching off time after work. This is not a house share. Having said that, we don't mind hanging out over the odd glass of wine / a few pints at the weekends if we're about!

Would suit a sensible, quiet & sociable person who needs a comfortable & relaxed home from home. No couples or pets please. No over night guests. Share with two film industry professionals who enjoy the arts, motorbikes, fine food, wine ...& occasionally fishing.

Professional & personal references, deposit & 1 month's rent required in advance of tenancy commencement.

Where can you praise your estate agents, on the business page? I put a post on the one I use here because last time I posted on this section lots of people were talking about their experiences with the various ones without it being considered a no-no and I haven't been on this bit since then so didn't know there'd been a change in that regard. I don't think it's right to call people 'offenders', when they may just not have known a rule changed.

"You need a pleasing stereo? drive your own vehicle." i was so worried about Alice's plans, on pinnacle of my

already gloomy temper, that the phrases got here out sharper than i'd meant them. i used to tera gold xbox be hardly ever

terrible-tempered with Edward, and my tone made him press his lips collectively to buy tera gold xbox preserve from smiling.

once I parked in front of Charlie's house, he reached over to buy tera gold xbox take my face in his fingers. He dealt with me

very carefully, pressing just the pointers of his arms softly towards my temples, my cheekbones, my jawline.

Like i used to tera gold xbox be particularly breakable. Which changed into tera gold xbox precisely the case?compared with him, as a minimum.

    • Hmmm, millions of animals are killed each year to eat in this country.  10,000 animals (maybe many more) reared to be eaten by exotic pets, dissected by students, experimented on by cosmetic and medical companies.  Why is this any different? Unless you have a vegan lifestyle most of us aren't in a position to judge.  I've not eaten meat for years, try not to buy leather and other animal products as much as possible but don't read every label, and have to live with the fact that for every female chick bred to (unaturally) lay eggs for me to eat, there will be male that is likely top be slaughtered, ditto for the cow/milk machines - again unnatural. I wasn't aware that there was this sort of market, but there must be a demand for it and doubt if it is breaking any sort of law. Happy to be proved wrong on anything and everything.
    • I don't know how spoillable food can be used as evidence in whatever imaginary CSI scenario you are imagining.  And yes, three times. One purchase was me, others were my partner. We don't check in with each other before buying meat. Twice we wrote it off as incidental. But now at three times it seems like a trend.   So the shop will be hearing from me. Though they won't ever see me again that's for sure.  I'd be happy to field any other questions you may have Sue. Your opinion really matters to me.
    • If you thought they were off, would it not have been a good idea to have kept them rather than throwing them away, as evidence for Environmental Health or whoever? Or indeed the shop? And do you mean this is the third time you have bought chicken from the same shop which has been off? Have you told the shop? Why did you buy it again if you have twice previously had chicken from there which was off? Have I misunderstood?
    • I found this post after we just had to throw away £14 of chicken thighs from Dugard in HH, and probably for the 3rd time. They were roasted thoroughly within an hour of purchase. But they came out of the oven smelling very woofy.  We couldn't take a single bite, they were clearly off. Pizza for dinner it is then. Very disappointing.
