Looking for daytime babysitter, immediate start

We are looking for a babysitter for our nearly 2 year old son to start immediately. Position would be suitable for a sixth form student who lives locally (we are in SE22 near to Dulwich library).

This is predominantly a daytime job, so will involve playing with him and helping with some mealtimes. There may be some night time babysitting too.

Hours would be flexible but around 6-8 hours per week from now until the summer holidays spread across evenings (after school (4pm) til 6/6.30) and weekends. We may offer more hours during the summer holidays (somewhere around 8-12 per week).

We need someone who is level-headed, committed and organised and who enjoys being in the company of young children.

hi will a parent be there during these hours or are you needing a Nanny?

A parent will be there sometimes, and certainly to begin with while my son gets used to the new person. But we also intend to leave him with them for short periods of time.

We don't require them to be qualified/registered/experienced as a nanny, just someone capable who can help me out.
