Total space the gate will span (including extensions) is 94cm - 101cm

We purchased this along with the two extension pieces to go at the bottom of our stairs and no longer need it.

  Are your neighbours also smelling it? If not, I had a similar issue years ago and found it was down to an emersion heater element failing and putting strain on the wiring, which had to be replaced. Hopefully you can track it down.
