Where can I take old sheets/towels not good enough for charity shops

Ideas please, have got as far as animal/dog shelters take towels. Need somwhere local.

Celia Hammond Animal Trust on Lewisham Way always need towels bedding for the animals. You could ring them to see if they would pick them up if its too far for you to take them .

My vet wants towels so I suspect most vets do..

Battersea Dog & Cats Home are always needing towels and bed linen and welcome any donations, nothing with feathers though

I dropped some stuff off at the Sense shop on Rye Lane, and asked if they wanted a very ink-stained sheet or if i should just throw it away. Turned out they have a rags basket. I don't know what they do with them, but anyway they took it.

Most charity shops will take old linen, as they get a small commission from recycle companies
