Looking for kitten

Hello,

We are looking to adopt a kitten for my daughter who is almost nine.I have tried few times through Celia Hammond in Lewisham but they never got back to me.

We have a good size garden and live on a fairly quiet street in Peckham.

Please let us know (PM) if you know of anybody who would have one to house.

Many thanks

Celia Hammond are ridiculously stretched and I've had issues with getting in touch with them by phone. The best thing to do is to pop over on a Saturday or Sunday (1-5pm) and you can give then your details and take a look at the kitties. If you're keen to adopt then they follow up with a home visit before finalising the adoption.

Just a word of advise, they only re-home kittens in pairs, well, that was the deal when we adopted our puss 3 years ago.

Good Luck!

    • Good that PETA is on it but can we add our voices to the fight against this horrible practice? I’m still shocked! A petition maybe? Happy to raise to the RSPCA but don’t want to duplicate efforts. I’ve signed campaigns from RSPCA before which sends it directly to your councillor
    • Yes, I'm aware of that. I believe the brood was five to begin with. However they are almost adult size now so not the prey of rats any longer.
    • Happy to recommend Greg. Lovely guy and a really hard worker, high standard of work, clean and tidy too. Greg sorted out a tricky water tank problem in a tight space in a loft, staying late into the evening to get the correct parts and fix the problem. Thanks Greg!
    • Birds have large broods as it is unlikely all their offspring will make it through to adulthood.  Nature.  Important to reduce unnatural predation such as rats.
