Am searching Tinternet for free baby first aid courses. I was sure there were some around locally when I had my first child but now I can only find expensive ones.

Try the Forest Hill NCT website. You don't have to be a member and its only ?10 to share cost of the room. The trainer is from the London Ambulance service and is great. Highly recommended!

Bessemer Children Centre - there is definitely one on the 29th of May which I will be attending. It's free and 1,5h long, you can bring your baby with you. You just need to book your place, they go quickly I heard.
