things to do with a toddler this morning!

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Unusually, having dropped elder son off to nursery, myself and my 17 month old son are ready and raring to go to an activity. However, my usual trusted friend EDtots website does not seem to be working - the activities pages don't seem to be loading. Can any wise forumites advise me of any activities running this morning? Much appreciated x

Southbank is always interesting, Royal Festival hall etc. Also Tate Modern has an under-5s area, though my daughter at that age had just as much fun running around the turbine hall and up and down the wide landings. xx

Hi urchin. Sorry about that... not sure what the problem is as the pages seem to be showing fine sometimes and coming up blank at other times.

The site is a Google one and I know they will be making changes soon to remove some of the gadgets that I use to run the site so maybe they're starting to tweak things early (not supposed to be until the end of the month). I have a temporary fix that I'll pop on the site this evening once my own little EDtot is asleep. Unfortunately it won't look as good, but hopefully EDdad can find some time to help with a permanent fix.

Bear with me! Thanks.

I've been having problems viewing the activity pages on the edtots website too. Although it seems to be a mac specific problem, as I could see them fine on husbands laptop. Also rely on it almost daily so hope you find a fix soon!

Ok, I've made some changes and hopefully it should work for now. I've tested it on a few browsers including Apple's and it looks ok... *fingers crossed*

Any problems, let me know and will look into it as soon as poss.

Lovely to hear that the site is so useful. Thanks!

    • Good that PETA is on it but can we add our voices to the fight against this horrible practice? I’m still shocked! A petition maybe? Happy to raise to the RSPCA but don’t want to duplicate efforts. I’ve signed campaigns from RSPCA before which sends it directly to your councillor
    • Yes, I'm aware of that. I believe the brood was five to begin with. However they are almost adult size now so not the prey of rats any longer.
    • Happy to recommend Greg. Lovely guy and a really hard worker, high standard of work, clean and tidy too. Greg sorted out a tricky water tank problem in a tight space in a loft, staying late into the evening to get the correct parts and fix the problem. Thanks Greg!
    • Birds have large broods as it is unlikely all their offspring will make it through to adulthood.  Nature.  Important to reduce unnatural predation such as rats.
