day out with kids

I'm sure I've seen loads of threads on this but can't find any now I need them!

Just wondered if anyone had any ideas for a good day out for the kids within an hour or so of here?

Yes, I drive, they are 9, 5 and just about 3. Not an easy age group to please!!

I've just spent the day in Covent Garden and the Southbank. A great bus ride there, sooooo much to do, people watching, sandpits, free beano exhibition, skate board park to try out/watch etc etc. We all came home with big smiles on our faces

Thanks so much everyone! we had a lovely day at Godstone farm. Wasn't very busy which was great. Apparently we now have to get a pet rabbit!

next week we might do the wetlands centre and somerset house.
