Day out for 18 mnth old - sunday

Need your help forumites. We want to take ds out for a special treat, make a fuss etc. where do we go? I could do with getting away frm all the usual suspects (much as we love them). So apart frm local parks, gumbados, peckham softplay, horniman, brockwell lido etc - where would you go?

I dont mind driving and it doesnt have to be fancy. I just want da to have a lovely day with both his parents fussing over him.

Please help with ideas- my mind is blank.

Battersea park zoo is fab for little ones (and big ones). Has lots of animals and great play areas including a brilliant sandpit. Easy on the train.

Or London zoo?

Kew gardens also a lovely family day out with a fab play area

Boat trip on the Thames?
