Phil and Teds Navigator Caccoon

Hi all,

Seeking good old EDF advice!

I bought a P&T Navigator as expecting baby number 2, but did not buy a caccoon at the same time.

Has anybody got a Navigator and a caccoon which goes with it? Which one should I buy and indeed not buy!?

Hope this makes sense!

Thanks

I've got one of these you can have for ?20 if it's any good to you

Pro: Best thing I ever bought when baby number 2 arrived. Not so much for actual travel in the P&T (although that was fine), but more because she was so comfy in it, and slept so well in it. In the evenings I could put her in it, hold it like a sports bag by the handles, and gently rock her to sleep. I loved that bloody thing! Never ever used a moses basket or carry cot once we had this.

Con: Not big enough, so outgrown sooner than I'd have liked (and she wasn't an especially big baby)

Based on the size of your baby, how long was she in it for?

I tend to have average babies and this one is currently, 'under' average according to measurements.

If not long, I may not bother!!! (one less thing to store!)

I'm also a cocoon fan, for the same reasons as Otta. Had an old Sport one. Also with your second baby they are really handy if s/he falls asleep on the way to an activity where you can't take the buggy in; you can carry him/her inside still asleep in the cocoon. Used mine for about 4.5 months. And a sling is also brilliant so baby number 2 gets cuddles/snoozes whilst you're chasing round after child number 1...

    • Another great encounter with Aria. A leaking toilet was fixed quickly and cleanly and for a reasonable price. Aria’s always going to be our first call for plumbing work, and he knows a lot of good local people for their types of jobs.

    • Nauris and his team have done fantastic work in our garden for the second year. Last year, they sanded, oiled the deck and did an immaculate job of paving the area around the deck. Then two weeks ago, I asked Nauris if he could build a garden shed, sand and oil the deck and paint and repair the fences. Again, another excellent job and he was great at fitting in a couple of small fixes. We are really pleased with the shed which is well made and painted and blends in well to the garden. Nauris is really respectful and always left everything tidy in the evening and spotlessly clean at the end of the job. Nauris also provided a clear quote for the work at the beginning.  I recommend Nauris Graudins (and his team) very highly - [email protected]
    • So who actually checks that the above is followed - are there going to be "surprise" inspections ?
