Independent skin care advice - is there such a thing?

Recommended Posts

I would like to find someone who I can consult about the best skincare for me, taking lots of different brands & products in to consideration. Is there such a person/company?

I have accumulated various products over the years which work for me but I'm still having problems with my skin. I don't want to go to a local beautician or salon for them to recommend the products they use/sell. Rather someone who is familiar with a variety of brands & products and is willing to do a private consultation. Think Sali Hughes (who I have emailed but not received a reply) or equivalent.

Any recommendations would be gratefully recieved.

Hello. I am a skin specialist fully qualified in beauty therapy and cosmetology with worldwide top degree. I can come round to give you a private consultation and a facial if you want. I dont use a specific brand but a variety of products most of them hand made design for each client. I also offer a service to come with you beauty shopping too to give you advice on ingredients but not brands!!!

Please feel free to contact me by private message if you want more information. You can also tell me more about your skin concerns at the moment.

I hope that helps.

Anne

    • That is clearly not true. I see car drivers breaking the law on an hourly basis - jumping red lights, speeding, not obeying the general rules. Plus they are operating considerably more dangerous machinery and should have a greater responsibility of care to other road uses. You can see who causes the most harm by the stats.

    • A quick Google found this, amongst other things: "Social impact models are frameworks or approaches that guide how organizations or initiatives address social or environmental problems."
    • "If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck then it must be a duck" comes to mind Unfortunately, a large number of cyclists do exhibit selfish amd anti social behaviour which, regardless of how many good cyclists there are, is seen as the norm.  It's a bit like one car driver jumping a red light and all car drivers getting tarred by the same brush. Perception is the issue and if cyclists all obeyed the rules, everyone would be less anti them but unfortunately that isn't the case 🤔
