Ideas for family day out?

We're thinking about a day out tomorrow with our 2.5 year old and 5 month old and are wondering if anyone has ideas/ recommendations? Either into central london or out towards Kent is fine. We are happy to drive / train. My son loves animals so we thought about a farm but could do with a change from all the city farms. Any ideas gratefukly received!

Battersea childrens zoo is nice and pretty local too. Godstone is also fun
