Welcome to St John 's & St Clement's new reception intake 2016!

Recommended Posts

Hello and a big welcome to families with children starting in reception at St John's and St Clement's in September. We look forward to meeting you all!

You will have received your letter from the school with key dates for meetings and school starts, but please do email the PTFA ([email protected]) if you want to know more about our role in the school and how you can be involved. And like us on Facebook to get regular updates on our activities https://www.facebook.com/SJSCPTFA/?fref=ts

We run a wide range of events throughout the school year. Next up is a clothes swap evening which is open to all - Friday 10 June at 7.30pm, pop into the school office if you'd like a ticket (?5 entry - free glass of fizz, talk by local stylist extraordinaire Sally Smy of Queen Bee styling, and mini massage treatments from Mothers Inc. Not to mention the chance to take home some new/nearly new clothes).

We look forward to getting to know you!

Hello, thanks for the welcome. We are very much looking forward to starting this September

I know there are a few things already organised but are there any parents than would fancy a park meeting with kids or evening drinks without the kids! Happy to organise

I would also potentially be interested in some shared after school care if we do not get into the after school clubs

Thanks

Catherine

    • That is clearly not true. I see car drivers breaking the law on an hourly basis - jumping red lights, speeding, not obeying the general rules. Plus they are operating considerably more dangerous machinery and should have a greater responsibility of care to other road uses. You can see who causes the most harm by the stats.
    • Looking for a suit for an 11 year old. Quite specific, white with black thin stripes.  Trying to replicate Michael Jacksons smooth criminal costume.  A blue linen shirt and white tie.    Thank you !!!!!!!
    • A quick Google found this, amongst other things: "Social impact models are frameworks or approaches that guide how organizations or initiatives address social or environmental problems."
    • "If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck then it must be a duck" comes to mind Unfortunately, a large number of cyclists do exhibit selfish amd anti social behaviour which, regardless of how many good cyclists there are, is seen as the norm.  It's a bit like one car driver jumping a red light and all car drivers getting tarred by the same brush. Perception is the issue and if cyclists all obeyed the rules, everyone would be less anti them but unfortunately that isn't the case 🤔
