Unvaccinated children at nursery?

How do you feel about there being unvaccinated children in nursery?

Where are you coming from on this one DizzyVB. Is your child unvaccinated or are you worried if an unvaccinated child gets ill in the same nursery as yours?

To my knowledge, its not a requirement for children to be vaccinated to attend UK nursery for schooling. I understand that in other countries it is. Parents are allowed to make the choice.

In my experience nurseries always ask if a child's vaccinations are up to date. If your child is immunised then other people's children not being immunised wouldn't be a problem?

Yes, edanna, unless you have a young baby at nursery who's not had all their shots...

Good point Monkey - my nursery only took children from 18m so that was never an issue.
