what to do with outgrown kids shoes?

i have a bag full of boys shoes, in varying states from lightly to fairly worn.

i would like to pass them on but i am guessing its not worth selling them, any recommendations or who might take them?

Just resurrecting this thread - does anyone know if the shoe recycling box by the Plough is still there? Don't want to schlep up the hill with a huge bag of shoes unless I know it definitely exists!

I just looked at the link for Sal's Shoes that bels123 posted but they are not accepting donations at the moment as they are inundated - shame, looks like a great charity.

You could approach Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers (SDCAS) [www.sdcas.org.uk], a super local charity with lots of young families.
