Experience of infant with flat spot on head

I?m wondering if anyone has experience of having a child with a flat spot on their head. This is related to how he was positioned lying in the womb

We have been to see the GP and been referred to a specialist at the Evelina?s children hospital who says it may sort itself out as the child?s skull grows (he?s only 5 months at the mo)

Has anyone else had this and can give advice ?
