Thank you Jo Brand!

Recommended Posts

We'd like to publicly thank Jo Brand for coming to Goose Green school today to formally open our brand new kitchen (where fresh, healthy meals will be prepared on site for the children by the school chef and her team) Her funny speech made all the children (and staff!) laugh. Afterwards, Jo had a go at making vegetable stew with the chef! The event also a fun opportunity for performances by the school choir, the Year 6 drummers, the brass band and ballet class dancers and the children enjoyed performing for her. Thanks again!

Sorry everyone - I noticed in another thread someone commented that the school website was down. However, if you had clicked on the link I gave the other day, I typed it in incorrectly and therefore, you would have been re-directed to a page that said there was a problem with the link. I have corrected it now. To see the video, simply go to latest news and then click on the headline with the Jo Brand video. Thank you for your compassion!

    • Why not watch a video? I know it’s not the same but it saves such grotesque waste.
    • I have ordered from them and they do free delivery within a certain radius.  Have only had some of their vegetarian dishes which were all good including the onion bhajis that come with a very tasty spicy green sauce accompaniment.  Also, they start service from 1230 pm if you want lunch.
    • The bin outside Harris Primary School has been a spot for fly-tipping weekly. This is now a hazard for the children going to school every day - they have to walk over the rubbish to get into the school!  The rubbish has been there since Saturday, it is Tuesday 23 April today and nothing has been done! I've see a person who lives across the road dumping her house rubbish to into the bin but I believe it is not only her now but other people too! This has been reposted to Southwark Council:  https://report.southwark.gov.uk/report/5888283
