Technical question

Hiya,

Anyone know if there's a way to get some Cbeebies or similar shows downloaded onto an iPad so we can take on holiday to Spain with us? I can only find streaming which ive got a feeling wont work abroad, getting very confused!

Through iTunes - you will have to pay for them but worth it. Not sure what Cbeebies programmes are on there but I have downloaded peppa pig and ben and Holly for my daughter.

If you have wifi quite a bit on you tube too. Iplayer streaming won't work aboard and I have never been able to download cebbies programmes from there on the iplayer.

And you can convert your DVDs to a format that then plays on iPad too - if you google you'll find instructions on how I'm sure - you need software to convert the file.

Strangely enough I was just trying to do this with some dvds, I can get them onto the iTunes library on the laptop but it's windows and not sure if you can sync the iTunes library with iPad without iCloud? Getting very technical now!

You can use Handbrake software to convert dvd files into mp4 files and then you can add those to an ipad or iphone through itunes just by dragging the files into 'movies'

I always sync my iPad with iTunes on a PC using Windows. If you can convert the files to MP4s and then put in iTunes wherever you sync your iPad to normally you should be fine.

If you get really stuck I know a man who can help without being tooooo expensive!!
