Hi everyone,


Would like to update you guys of my recent qualifications in Suspension Fitness training Including The World famous TRX Suspension training system, this is now available to all personal training clients.

I have been training with Martin for about a year now and I would like to recommend him to anyone who is interested in having a personal trainer. I am a female and I did not want to lose weight and slim down, I wanted to change my physique, develop muscles and increase my strength, to be able to do pull ups was one of my main challenges. He gives me great advice on my diet that fits around my lifestyle and I can still eat the foods I love within moderation.

He is very professional and takes a lot of time to tailor sessions around achieving personal goals.

I would definitely recommend trying his free taster session, it's great fun and a good workout and I'm sure you'll be back for more!

I'd greatly recommend Martin as a trainer for many reasons. In fact I have been continuously telling family and friends about him since starting some weeks ago. I am a professional singer and private tutor myself so I can appreciate what good training looks and should feel like. He's so pleasant, knowledgeable and motivational every time I see him.


In my first free taster session I went through exactly what were my problems and what I wanted to achieve. He listened carefully and customised his approach to me. We did an awesome, hard but well-executed workout where he not only worked on both performance and endurance, but in the process fixed my form in both squats and jogging believe it or not! I discovered I've never jogged correctly! And where before I was informed maybe my knees were too sensitive for doing exercises like squats, he discovered how I was using my knees incorrectly, clearly showed me how and straight away I did it right feeling no strain on my knees. It was such a good session, I offered to pay for it! I then bought a block of 5 lessons (the 5th one is free - another great deal) and have now just bought my 2nd block of 5.


Every lesson the warm-up and cool down is the same due to its effectiveness which revolves around more dynamic stretching than static; however, every workout is different than the last. This makes the sessions interesting and you feel physically fresher. He's since fixed my form in other exercises like skipping (which I've never been able to do before) and guided me through many others so I'm working all of my body in a way which will get me to the look and fitness I desire. Visibly, my body is already taking shape and I'm feeling fitter and stronger than I have in a long time.

I have been training with Martin for a few months,and I love it he is a GREAT teacher.Each lesson is different just good fun and hard work that get AMAZING results.My daughter is so impressed with how I look she has booked some sessions herself with Martin, and she LOVES THEM.People are always giving me compliments on how well I look,of late (I love it.)My fitness level has improved so much.My arms look TONED,it must be all that pad work we do what great fun,with fab results.The squats I have done are paying off as my buttocks has definitely lifted. My body is much stronger and fitter I feel very GOOD

Martin is very professional and takes a lot of time to tailor sessions around achieving personal goals.

I would definitely recommend trying his free taster session it's GREAT FUN and a good workout

I have been training with Martin for a couple of months now, in preparation for a charity endurance challenge. I have found him to be a great trainer, who gently coaxes and pushes me. He is an extremely attentive trainer, who puts safety first. He has retrained my bad techniques and refocused my lack of enthusiasm to our early morning sessions, which are varied and fun. I am a natural sloth slowly turning into a much more active person. I have also lost 3 kgs in weight since my training started at the beginning of September 2013.

He is very reliable turning up at my house at 6.45 am three times a week. Our sessions fly by. I am also proving to be quite a good with the skipping rope, something I never mastered in my childhood!!

I have always lacked the motivation to do exercise properly but have found myself really enjoying my sessions with Martin. He keeps things interesting with a range of different exercises, focuses on doing things right and knows when to increase the difficulty levels to push me to work a bit harder. After just a couple of months, I feel great, with loads more energy, and I really look forward to working out with him.


So if you're planning on eating too many mince pies this Xmas (who isn't?), I can definitely recommend signing up for a taster session at least!

After giving birth to twins I was eager to start getting my body back in shape and Martin was the answer. During the taster session he was very thorough and explained how we would be going about building back up my strength as well as losing the extra weight. As he had got qualifications in training pre and post natal women I felt comfortable knowing that he knew how to go about our training. The sessions were great as he was tough but fair and fun! He would change it up so you weren't doing the same thing each session and made sure we worked on all the areas of the body to get all round results. And I did!

I loved training on the TRX ( if you haven't heard of it, look it up, it's great) and also mixing it up with some pad work, which is a great way to release any stress or frustrations! I would end the sessions feeling so energised and ready to face my 3 kids under 2!

I can not thank Martin enough for helping me feel myself again. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to get fit and feel great!

I'd love to recommend Martin Fregis from On This Fitness for anyone thinking about getting a personal trainer. I have tried pretty much everything to keep fit over the years - gym, classes, swimming, yoga, wii fit, running - but I always come up against the same problem: I get bored and soon lose my motivation to keep going.


I've been seeing Martin since November last year and I think he is a brilliant teacher. He comes to my house which is great as I don't have to spend time getting to the gym or park and can hit the shower straight after he has gone. He has improved my technique on several exercises I've been doing incorrectly in the past so I know I am getting the best out of every exercise we do. Apparently my push ups are perfect now - something I never thought possible! We've been using weights and TRX too which are tough but keep things challenging and I can really see the difference - I'm definitely much stronger and can do complicated exercises now I would never have been able to do when we started. He listens to you if you want to target certain areas, keeps sessions varied and effective in the space available at my home, and encourages me to push myself.


It's hard work but after training 3 times a week since November without fail (something I have not managed to maintain since my early 20s), I am feeling fitter and healthier. My body shape has changed hugely and combined with dieting, I have lost about two and a half stone. So many people have commented how different I look and I can't quite believe I am one of those people that actually exercises regularly and enjoys it - I never thought I would be. I would definitely recommend him as a personal trainer and would encourage anyone who wants to get fit once and for all to give him a call.

I have been training with Martin since February. I had hit rock bottom had no confidence and knew it was either trying a personal trainer or doing something drastic like surgery. I found the first meeting quite emotional, but Martin put me at ease very quickly. I loved the session and the way he really listened to what I had to say. He tailored the session to my ability. Over the months with his support I have changed the way I eat, I now no longer eat sugar or wheat, my choice and I feel so much better for it. I have lost 21 pounds and am getting my shape back and feel so much happier. I am now on my third set of 20 sessions, and in all that time I have not had one session that was the same, so there is never a chance of getting bored of the sessions. My personal favourite is the TRX and the boxing. He is really encouraging and I have now started swimming and playing tennis as well as seeing him. I really recommend Martin as personal trainer and encourage anyone to give him a call.

Having never used a personal trainer before, I contacted Martin on a recommendation. He offered a free trial which I thought was very reasonable, to give me the opportunity to decide whether or not this was for me. After the first session I was hooked. I've always been into exercise but I was never sure if I was doing everything correctly. Martin finessed my technique and introduced me to exercises and equipment I'd never used before. I soon realised that there is more to exercise than 30mins on the treadmill. The sessions were always very professional, fun packed and full of variety. These sessions, paired with a healthy lifestyle (well, most of the time), I've really noticed a difference in myself, not only physically but also in my energy levels. My sessions are normally first thing in the morning, and by the time I get to work I am rearing to go!! I highly recommend getting in touch with Martin today!

I first started training with Martin in January as a new year's resolution to focus on getting fit following many failed attempts over the years. Then my sister decided to get married and put me in the same (above the knee) bridesmaids dress as my 18 & 13 year old nieces! My legs needed a lot of work. Limited to training once a week, Martin made the most of our time together and by August I was proud to show my slender pins off.


Martin ensures a well rounded workout to cover all body parts and both cardio and strength. No one session is the same so there's no chance of getting bored and he's creative in using the resources available in all manner of way.


I have really enjoyed our time together and suggest you book in wth Martin now to avoid the New Year's rush! Oh, and I dropped a dress size if that's any motivation for you...

I've been training with Martin since last July and it's an absolute pleasure to recommend him. With a milestone birthday approaching I wanted to keep fit, gain strength and keep the dreaded middle-aged spread at bay. Without a doubt I've achieved all these and more - I have acheived my dream goal of having arms like Michelle Obama!


Martin is a fantastic trainer: he listens, tailors the sessions to your needs an abilities (it sounds obvious but is not always the case)and manages to push you without your realising it! Each session is different so there's no chance of getting bored. He's fastidious about form: he always demonstrates any exercises and constantly checks your posture to ensure you're performing the move correctly - again, this sounds obvious but is not always the case with others.


I can say with all honesty that I am the fittest I have ever been and that is thanks, in no small part, to Martin.

I cannot recommend Martin highly enough!!!!


After 20 odd years of dieting, starving, putting on weight, losing weight, re-gaining it and having very low energy levels, I can honestly say that Martin has changed my life!!!


He has an informed 'no-nonsense' holistic approach to exercise, improving health and fitness and is approachable, knowledgable and motivating. He really listens and understands. He makes you feel at ease and supported. The very opposite of my previous experience of trainers and gyms.


I have always been overweight and unfit (no other way to put it really)and I have now lost 31 pounds based on my workouts with him and the inspiration he brings to our sessions.


The sessions are always different and he uses a variety of sports and techniques including skipping, running, boxing, weights and jumping all of which I had never done before. And to be honest didn't think I could ever do or enjoy.


I always feel fantastic after each session with him, energised, motivated and in a better mood.


In addition to this, he is experienced, qualified, reliable and contactable. And very encouraging and supportive which is what I really needed to help me stay on track.


I really cannot rate him highly enough or thank him enough and if you are thinking of accessing personal training sessions, you have to call Martin.

Just wanted to add to the recommendations for Martin. I have completed 6 months of training sessions and it has been a really positive experience. After 2 babies in close succession, I needed help to regain my core strength and I was lacking in confidence and motivation. Martin has worked with me to address all of these things and increased my fitness at a stage in my life when I felt it was impossible to find the time to exercise. We have trained in the park, in the garden and in my kitchen during my 1 year old's nap-times, and no two sessions have ever been the same. Martin is positive and motivating, he likes to see results, but he is also flexible, kind and realistic. I feel stronger, fitter and happier, so thank you!

I have been training with Martin over the last couple of months and have thoroughly enjoyed it.

He makes the sessions as challenging as you want, he brings along all the equipment needed and pushes you so you really feel the benefits. He also makes it great fun which is most important!

I'd highly recommend Martin to other people.

I can highly recommend Martin as a personal trainer!


I needed someone to help me lose weight, get into shape, and off the couch on Saturdays. Martin comes to my local park and really pushes me with the sessions. They can be tough, but he makes them really fun and most importantly safe! If I'm doing the exercise wrong, he'll stop you and correct your position. He has a mountain of knowledge about fitness and diet.


I'm really happy with Martin's sessions over the 2 months I've been working out with him and I lost a lot of weight. Check him out if you want to get into shape fast!

I have been training with Martin in Peckham for over a year now and I would definitely recommend him as a personal trainer. Initially I was training to help keep my fitness up over the winter months which is no easy feat but Martin made the sessions fun and challenging which really helped with maintaining motivation. My goal was then to be fit, strong and healthy for my wedding, again something Martin helped me to achieve. No matter your goal Martin will work to help you drive towards it and tailor the sessions along the way to however you're feeling that day. He has a wealth of knowledge and positivity in bucketloads so if you've got a goal for 2016 definitely give him a call!

I was recommended Martin by my wife and Martin has been helping me build strength and get toned for over 6 months. I was looking for someone to help me with strength and toning specifically, but Martin helped me in many other areas of fitness, from cardio to speed and strength training. His wide range of training methods and exercises always kept the sessions interesting and challenged my skill and physical ability. If you are looking for someone to get you in shape, but also to teach you the fundamentals of Muscle development and fitness, Martin is your man. Couldn't recommend enough.

I have been training with Martin now for nearly 18 months and I could not be more impressed or pleased. I had never considered myself a person who enjoyed exercise and would often avoid it at all costs, that being said I love training with Martin. He held no prejudice when meeting me and adapted all my sessions to suit my abilities. The seasons are never stagnant and all ways great fun. Martin is a great motivator and has pushed me past my own expectations of fitness. Martin is highly knowledgeable and passionate about fitness, which is not only reassuring, it also encouraging. He is always coming up with new exercises and routines to keep things fun. I could not recommend him enough, I've never felt fitter in my life.

What do you want from Personal Trainer? Formally qualified; well trained i.e. knows the exercises and techniques/forms; committed to meeting your personal goals; a great motivator (for those days when you can?t motivate yourself; pushy (for those aforementioned days and for those last few reps; great attention to detail; good equipment; well thought out, balanced sessions; fun to be around; prepared to get dirty too and do exercise he/she wants you to do.


Martin is all of these things and more! I first started using him in December 2015, when the mornings were dark and cold. Getting up to train with Martin was a highlight of the week - sessions were super interesting, increased in intensity at just the right rate and produced results. I learnt loads about the mechanism of my body, how do particular exercises and got much, much fitter (cardio and strength wise). I can?t sing Martin?s praises enough and I?m pretty sure you won?t be disappointed if you use him.

I trained with Martin for a few months before I moved away from the area.

Martin is fun but professional and really knows what he's talking about. The sessions were always different and I felt like I was progressing each time. I could feel the difference even over such a short period of time and I felt like a warrior lifting the Power Bag! I was worked hard but always confident that I was comfortable and safe.

If you are looking for a personal trainer in the Dulwich/Peckham area I can highly recommend Martin. I was looking for a change from my normal exercise routine and have found the sessions with Martin to be very enjoyable with a good amount of challenge thrown in for good measure! The sessions are always varied and interesting and I have learnt a lot about how to complete exercises properly to avoid injury and to gain most benefit. I have found it particularly useful that Martin has given me specific exercises to help with back pain (which too many hours sat at a desk has made worse!) and tailored the sessions around this. This has really helped and I feel much improved as a result.

Martin is always friendly, positive, helpful, well prepared and punctual (even on cold dark mornings!) and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a more interesting way to exercise.

    • The dustmen kindly broke my garden gate this morning,  so I am looking for a replacement.  I could make a complaint to the council, however I know I will have to prove it and provide a receipt,  both I can't provide. Many thanks. 
    • My front gate has expired! Does anyone have an unwanted one - ideally wrought iron? Many thanks. 
    • Do also remember that, whilst this is the original there is an unrelated FB presence with a (very) similar name, which might also be prayed in aid. 
    • Yet another increase, its absolutely disgusting. I was charged £7.95 to send documents recorded delivery last week. I asked for the Signed for option that only costs £2.50 but the Post Office refused & said they would only send them recorded delivery.
