Singers, dancers, musicians, magicians...

Are you a budding performer? Do you belong to a group, band or choir who like performing?

We're looking for talented performers from the Dulwich area to bring some Christmas cheer to this year's East Dulwich Christmas Cracker on Saturday 7th December.

The East Dulwich Christmas Cracker takes place between 10am and 5pm on Lordship Lane and North Cross Road. The event is organised in partnership with the South Southwark Business Association as a day to celebrate East Dulwich by bringing extra merriment and cheer.

There will be a small stage and we are particularly keen to find small acoustic acts who could do some pop up performances in the local shopping area.

If you are interested, please email [email protected] with a bit of information about what you do and links to any online videos of performances, music etc if available. Please state your address, advise whether you are above or under 18 years of age, and let us know any technical/special requirements that you have.

  Labour are proposing to nationalise the railways, (passenger trains but not fright) Whilst it removes them from shareholders control, and potential profit chasing, is it workable or will it end up costing tax payers more in the long run? On paper the idea is interesting but does it also need the profitable freight arm included to help reduce fares,?

  Another recommendation here for Jason. He came to plaster over a section of ceiling that we had to remove in order to investigate a leak. He is a really lovely guy, easy to get in touch with and great communication. He was quick, tidy and competitively priced. Very happy and I'd have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.
