Dentist wanted

I haven't been to the dentist in a long time. I have decided now is the time. I know everyone hates the dentist, but can anyone actually recommend theirs as being good? I've heard so many horror stories.

We go to Katherine Opie Smith in Dulwich Village. She is brilliant, albeit a bit expensive. Otherwise there is doctor Pereira in Herne hill who is bound to be cheaper( my daughter uses him under NHS). He is very zen and sweet, and has looked after our daughter since she was 5.
