Don't buy anything from Ghandi's Indian Takeaway, & BARRY PARADE SE22.

They duplicate your card and use it to buy good online immediately after you order from them.

They robbed me 3 times.

The police aren't interested.

The banks refund you, eventually, but no one is interested in prosecuting them, and they know it.

That said, the food must be pretty amazing if they robbed you twice but you still went back for a third time?

That's a serious accusation and I find it remarkable that the Police were not interested.

Its Fraud and is a Police matter, not a civil matter.

it's a great business plan isn't it - go to thet rouble of signing an expensive lease for a business and then ensure you get no repeat custom by using customers's card details

I once had a card copied in an ED business - it was a brand new card, and I'd only used it there and in Sainsbury's, so it was pretty much a smoking gun. Foxy, you may find it hard to believe, but the police are absolutely not interested in hearing about credit card fraud.

It's also very hard to prove... I wouldn't expect this thread to last long...
