Cafe G., East Dulwich is looking for someone to join our small team as a breakfast cook/deli hand. The role will be around 35 hours per week to include weekend shifts. Our food is seasonal, delicious and constantly evolving.


The role involves making hot breakfast rolls & other deli items to order as well as stocking the display counter with a variety of sandwiches and salads. There will be also be preparation of sandwich fillings, soups and salad ingredients. You will be responsible for rotating and keeping track of stock on your section and report to the head chef.


We need someone who has relevant experience as well as a passion for good food. The right cook will be well turned out, reliable and also hold food hygiene certification to level 2. Good spoken and written English is essential.


Shifts may start at 7,30am so it is very important that you either live locally or in an area that is easy to travel from and to.

    • "If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck then it must be a duck" comes to mind Unfortunately, a large number of cyclists do exhibit selfish amd anti social behaviour which, regardless of how many good cyclists there are, is seen as the norm.  It's a bit like one car driver jumping a red light and all car drivers getting tarred by the same brush. Perception is the issue and if cyclists all obeyed the rules, everyone would be less anti them but unfortunately that isn't the case 🤔
