Toasted - well worth a trip!

Seriously such a lovely place for Lordship Lane. Took my Mum when she came to stay a few weekends ago and both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Still need to make it to their Monday evening when a selection of wines are available to drink in at shop price. Excellent staff too!

The staff are brilliant and always remeber your face not like some of the rude staff of the old Green and Blue.

Never made it to Green & Blue. Hope they don't suffer with Franco Manca opening! Though I'm looking forward to heading down there at some point too.

A word of warning about ToastED:

I went there for brunch recently.

The smoked salmon was delicate and perfectly seasoned and was the nicest I've ever eaten. How am I supposed to enjoy smoked salmon from the supermarket ever again?

The poached egg was cooked to such perfection that I am considering proposing to the chef. How am I supposed to explain this to my wife and kids?
