Does anyone know of a place to hire a van?

I need to pick up a sofa from Siddcup and think hiring a van for a couple of hours would be the best solution.

It's just a once off pick up, so not worth signing up and paying a fee.

Try Dulwich van hire, they operate out of Barry's off-licence

Hire the van, pick up the sofa, return the van, get champagne to celebrate after... What a great combo

icanhire.com are like zipcar but there's no joining fee and they charge ?9 per hour for a van (or ?48 per day). Best deal I've ever found for self drive hire.

I ended up using Anton. He had his own van and was able to pick up the sofa for me. I wasn't able to be at the pick up location but gave Anton instructions. He was there on time and delivered to my house on time too.
