Insinkerator repair needed

Do I need a plumber, or an electrician? Our Insinkerator food waste disposal has stopped working - has an air switch fitted which still works, but the unit just buzzes and doesn't operate. We have followed instructions to un-jam it, which has worked in the past, but not this time. A few weeks of using food waste bags make me realise I miss it, so it would be great to get it fixed. Recommendations/suggestions welcomed.

  Our child is in their last term at Goose Green, and after 7 wonderful years we are very sad to be leaving such a wonderful school and it’s special community. Being 2 form entry, It’s one of the smaller schools in the area and it’s also very diverse with an amazing spirit. Brilliant Art and Music departments, staff and a new library.
