Yet, another recommendation for Darren of Castle Plumbing and Bathrooms (castleplumbing@hotmail.co.uk 07939 051017). Came out within 2 hours of calling. Resolved the problem, was extremely professional and is guaranteed for 12 months so will come back and sort if his work needed it. Very happy and would totally recommend him. Oh yes, and very reasonable price too!

  Called them to rewire a fire alarm. They asked for a photo which I have sent as well as details of a spotlight that needed changing, I have no reply from them since even though I have sent WhatsApp messages trying to understand what the issue is.

  Are your neighbours also smelling it? If not, I had a similar issue years ago and found it was down to an emersion heater element failing and putting strain on the wiring, which had to be replaced. Hopefully you can track it down.
