Hi There,

Im looking for someone who can knock down and remove a wall at the front of my flat. It is made of patterned breeze blocks and stands about 3/4 feet tall. We are planning on re vamping the whole front garden area in the spring but the wall is a bit unsteady and needs to come down now so we would be looking to replace it with a fence of some sorts for now.

Any recommendations would be really appreciated

Hi Anna,

Hope you're doing well. Did you get any recommendations for a fence builder? I'm looking for one as well for my back garden and haven't been able to find any good recommendations on the good ol' East D Forum (this place is usually a treasure trove of advice!). Anyway, if you've had any recommendations come through and have a moment to share I would be very appreciative.

Thanks very much!

Polly

I highly recommend Pullem 07737407519. He just revamped my garden, creating a lovely patio area, his 4th projects for me. Not only he and his guys worked very hard, he had brilliant ideas on the design as well. Pleasant, helpful and very accommodating. Most important, he sticks to the timescale. Highly recommended.

    • I think the concern is the mast being so close to a school as well?
    • There is a planning application to put a mobile phone mast at the top of Dog Kennel Hill.  Residents of Camberwell Grove and their friends in the Camberwell Society are fighting it - defacing their nice conservation area with ugly laminated posters!  They do not benefit from it as reception is fine on their side of the hill. https://planning.southwark.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=makeComment&keyVal=S9IKT2KBN1200 I do not think there are any health hazards from being near phone masts (or at least they are negligible relative to everyday risks we all face).  Anyway, here is what the NHS has to say about them: https://111.wales.nhs.uk/encyclopaedia/m/article/mobilephonesafety/#Risks I imagine this will spark some lively debate!
    • Hi Laura, Thank you for your interest. I only walk 2 dogs at a time and your mum’s little one will be walking with my own 12 year old  Tibetan/poodle cross(send you her picture) and I charge £20 p/walk, pick up and drop. If it’s from Monday to Friday then we can talk and see what’s best for both of us. Sometimes if the weather is good we can stay at the park a bit longer than a hour…😊 I can only start the walks from Monday April 8th. Thank you, regards  M
